Adfam is UK based charity organisation with a goal to make life easier for families of drug or alcohol addicts. Be part of a loving and supportive family to enjoy physical and mental wellbeing because we want everyone affected by someone else's drug or alcohol use to have the chance to benefit from these healthy relationships.
The use of drugs and alcohol can ultimately destroy a family's wellbeing and the relationships within it.
We allow members of the family and close friends to help our personnel and influence decision-makers to make the right choices to prevent this from happening.
What We Appreciate
We are glad to hear family members and frontline workers. People who have experienced these type of problems most likely can provide some solutions. So, we use compassion and evidence to inform, encourage and empower persons influenced by a loved one's substance abuse as well as the workers who help them. So that both groups can help themselves, their peers, communities and clients, we build skills, confidence, pathways and resources.
We're Driven By What Works
Substance use has a very significant but varied effect on family members. Our approach of work with care and close regard which works in the whole world.
